Hot, full of crumbly clay, little stones.

_x000D_ This was a trailless hell hike. The plan was to climb Pilot Rock at the northern edge of the park, but there's a ton of up and down clay ridges to content with. The washes were like walking on the beach. Nonetheless, absolutely beautful country. Got a nasty sunburn that cancelled plans for some hiking near Tucson the next day.

Elevation gain has to be way low with a ton of PUDs to deal with.
